The CHC team consists mostly of women, including artists and other cultural workers with whom we had the opportunity to work. Through this significant experience, we had the opportunity to become more closely acquainted with their reality and to understand from our own examples that work in culture, which implies constant precariousness, a feeling of being under a threat, often worn out and vulnerable, is also subject to ignoring the above while neglecting the health and general condition of the individual (wellbeing).

 

Through the O-RUK program, intended for women workers in culture in Croatia, we want to raise awareness of the aforementioned conditions and work together on ourselves through different types of workshops and lectures, and in this way encourage reflection, cooperation and reflection on the meaning and importance of the concept of care and provide tools for care, both for ourselves and for the community we are a part of.
